Here we are. Everyday
we are trying to navigate the turbulent, uncharted waters of this Hyper Modern era that we find ourselves in.
There was not a carefully drawn blueprint. The equation is never balanced. This world is a free for all.
Only some kind of merit based reincarnation system could ever set things right. Here's hoping.

Only some kind of merit based reincarnation system could ever set things right. Here's hoping.
In the meantime, I do a lot of thinking. I go to quiet locations and I stare into space and I think out loud and I put a lot of thought into all kinds of things big and small. I reflect, and ponder, and deconstruct until I make sense of the noise all around me.
I assess
situations from all the different angles and I put myself in the other person's
shoes, even if I disagree with that person. Even if I hate a person, I can still understand why they did whatever it is they did. I search for the truth no matter how ugly it might be.
I know what people do, and I know why
they do it. Remember this; Whatever action someone takes, it only has to make sense to them. That is enough. People do not have to be reasonable, or logical, or morally upright, or even sane. People are capable of rationalizing anything to suit their needs at the time. The Nazis thought they were the good guys.
Remember this when you are trying to make sense of the people in your life. Remember this truth when you are trying to solve a crime. Don't rule possibilities out too quickly when you are searching for the answer. Don't assume the person in question would do it the way you would do it.
As wide open as this might make things seem, in reality, human actions are only fueled by a handful of key motivations. There are very few legitimate mysteries in the world.
I would love to share my thoughts with anyone who would like some help understanding the seemingly chaotic world we live in. Things are usually difficult, or unjust, or disturbing, or some combination of the three, but things are rarely complicated, and even when they are, that complexity is almost always caused by the dirty, ulterior motives of weak, corrupt people. There is usually one best move in any given situation.
For example, my local school board doesn't need to hold 19 meetings over the next 5 years to decide that high school should start later in the day to better fit the teenage sleep cycle. Science has already shown this to be true, but 25 years from now they still won't have it fixed everywhere, and I'll still be reading that same article in the newspaper as sleep deprived teenagers drive around my city.
There are 3 big topics that I think about the most.

3.) The Big Picture - How the human race can ascend to the next level of existence.

This is Hyper Modern existence and your time is more valuable than ever before! I won't waste it.

I am someone who is willing to think longer and harder than most in my quest for the truth. I'm the empathetic, open minded next door neighbor you go to for honest, friendly advice. Buzz words, and psychobabble, and cable news shows, and ego stroking, and the endless pursuit of the "Us vs. Them" mentality... none of these things will get us to where we really want to be.
I know that sometimes you just want to talk to someone without having to worry about your personal history with that person. Sometimes all we want to do is talk to someone who will look at our situation without bias.
It doesn't matter how old I am, or what I look like, or what sex I am, or what kind of accent I have.
